This bed and breakfast is quintessential southern charm and is located right in the middle of historic Savannah. My girlfriend and I couldn't have been happier with the service, the beautiful rooms, and great breakfast in the morning! As first time visitors to Savannah, this bed and breakfast was a perfect home base and the staff made sure that we had plenty to do during out visit. If (when) I return to Savannah, I will definitely look to return to the Gastonian.
Pros: Very charming and exceptional service. This is the nicest bed and breakfast I have ever been to.
Cons: Nope.

Southern hospitality at it's finest!!
Pros: The staff is all about Southern hospitality. They really go the extra mile to make sure you have a great time. I loved the bonus happy hour that they have as well as the after dinner dessert and port. Lovely and located in the heart of the historic district.
Cons: Our shower leaked and the bathroom was really small. Also not too many electrical outlets for charging our phones.

We will make every effort...
Pros: Everything was fabulous from the gorgeous premises to the perfect location within the historical district. The cooked breakfast, 5:00 wine and cheese and 8:00 dessert was an unexpected surprise. All the staff were also incredibly helpful and friendly. We felt like we were staying with family.
Cons: At check-in we discovered that while we had booked a King room on booking.com we were assigned a Queen room at no fault of the hotel. This seemed to be a communication problem between booking.com and the hotel. The hotel did their very best to move us at the earliest possible time to a Deluxe double room making our stay even better than expected.
