Historic. This dining spot with a classic nautical décor is located in a former 1820s cotton warehouse and provides river views of passing commercial vessels. As one might expect the menu is rife with original shrimp concoctions such as the shrimp trio, Creole peppered shrimp and shrimp and crab au gratin. The signature dish is the historic "Pine Bark Stew" made from a recipe dating back hundreds of years; it can be plated up as an appetizer for four. Raw bar selections are also available. All entrées are treated to a house salad prepared table side and a board of fresh dinner rolls with pimiento cheese and fresh butter spreads. With great flavors and generous portions, you won't be disappointed at this tourist spot.
