Pros: The bed was comfortable but even the soft pillow was too "hard" after the initial contact. The shower head was nice, but too high for short people, as was having a separate lavatory outside of the bath & toilet area. The breakfast was delicious but the availability of a microwave to warm the pastries would be nice. Having a clean room to enter was a definite plus.
Cons: An exhaust/vent fan is needed in the bath area; mirrors got steamed and other surfaces were wet. Some place to hang wet towels and wash clothes (Like towel bars?) is sorely needed, especially for such a "pricey" hotel. Other than the implied items in the "like" area (microwave oven and softer pillow), along with the above 2 items I think the hotel is way over priced. In addition, I saw no promotion of environmentally friendly activity, like using the linens & towels more than once. Of course, with no place to hang towels that would be impractical!!

Pros: The bed was superb and the breakfasts were very nice. Thought the scrambled eggs were a bit hard, but everything else was great. Only had breakfast 2 of the 2 mornings we were there as had to get down to Mallory St. Café and Palmer's as you just don't go to St. Simons without going to both of these places for breakfast.
Cons: There was a loud diesel truck that cranked up right outside of our room early one morning that just sat there for 10 minutes without leaving. Needless to say, I wasn't pleased.

Pros: The location, price and the working staff were all high points. The internet speed was very high compared to other hotels; near 30Mb download. Breakfast service was very good. The staff lady worked hard to keep everything fresh and clean.
Cons: The refrigerator in the room was broken and the telephone also did not work. Management, not the work staff, were unavailable and slow to respond. Eventually, after much pursuit, the fridge was swapped out but the phone was never fixed.

Pros: The room and hotel were very clean. The breakfast was great and the desk staff was very helpful and friendly
Cons: Check out time is at 11:00am and we had housekeeping staff knocking at our door at 8:30am ready to clean! We told her we were still sleeping and then two of the housekeeping staff just stood outside our room carrying on a loud conversation. If they know you are checking out they shouldn't really expect you to be out until close to check out time. At least not at 8:30am on a Sunday morning.
