The Center For Wildlife Education & The Lamar Q. Ball, Jr. Raptor Center is on the campus of Georgia Southern University on Forest Dr. The center comprises almost 18 acres and showcases species of eagles, falcons, hawks, owls and vultures in natural habitats, in addition to a number of native waterfowl and wading birds. Indoor exhibits and wildlife shows present a variety of birds and reptiles. The 12-acre Wetland Preserve focuses on ornithology and water resource conservation.
