Jack Hadley Black History Museum

Jack Hadley Black History Museum, 214 Alexander St., is located on the former campus of Douglas High School and is focused on local and national Black history. The museum houses a collection of artifacts and memorabilia related to civil rights, films, the military, plantation life, politics, sports and writers. One highlight is a bronze statue of a Buffalo Soldier made by artist Eddie Dixon.
