Pros: The rooms are very large as well as the closet and bath. There are considerable amount of steps (+50)
to get to most of the rooms. Breakfat is included in the fee. Consists of granola , fruit, and chilaquiles with tea or coffee as beverage. The hotel is well located in a very trendy and upscale part of town. Will book it again!!!
Pros: The quiet grounds and our room!
Pros: Staff was friendly, great location, you have parking space and breakfast included,
Cons: I stayed there in May, the room was hot, there was no AC and I
could not open the windows as they had no mosquitos screens. It was saturday night and there was a wedding nearby with very good but loud music. Since there was no way to solve either problem, I danced untill 1:00 am, to the music on the cool breeze of the room's balcony overlooking the town..one has to be creative in the face if adversity..

Pros: Great place, friendly, safe and great breakfast
Pros: The house and the location are both beautiful, foom is nicely furnished.
Cons: The room smelled like fresh cement; the walls leaked and the floor flooded (rainy season). The manager and staff were completely unresponsive. The "free breakfast" is a travesty. First night, there was a man with three girls in another room, they made a scandal. THe staff were unresponsive to the complaint-- but this was the least of the problems. THe place is beautiful, but it is terribly managed.
Pros: Casa de Liza was in a beautiful location within walking distance to the jardin and has beautiful grounds, but there were some basics that were absent that detracted from what could be a wonderful experience. There were some wonderful nesting cranes in trees on the property.
Cons: Like other guests, we had no hot water for all three nights we stayed at this place...and took showers in luke warm water. There was no WIFI in our room, but available in common areas. We learned one had to ask for what one wanted for breakfast.
Pros: The place was beautiful and very well located.
Cons: I feel like it was too expensive for the amenities offered. Because of the high cost, I would have expected a place where everything is taken care of. Instead it was more of a Mom and Pop place where you have to put up with certain things. Like the first room we stayed in had no hot water, the rooms were extremely cold, there were not enough towels, there was not enough parking, etc. Things that are fine but not for that price.
Pros: The location, the view.
Cons: The property is being Renovated. Noisy. 2 days without hot water. Owner arranged a driver to pick us up at airport. Driver was a no show. Had to find other way to property late at night on Christmas Eve.

Pros: Nice staff and understanding of our change of plans when needing to leave early. Setting is a short walk to city center, a bit of a hill to climb, but nice to be set a bit outside the busy area.
The property is lovely and they are currently doing some construction for expansion.
