Pros: Beautiful property
family with older children
Cons: as having AC, they have no such thing, staff is basically useless and none speak English
Cons: Water pressure of showers was very weak
Pros: The place is very beautiful.
Cons: The rooms are very small and they are expensive, is not worth the price you pay for. Also the pictures they show you for the "deluxe" room which is the most basic room they have, are nothing compared to the real thing. It was a very big let down
Pros: sonido de las las aves por las mañanas los árboles, y flores, paz.
Realy easygoing and paceful Hotel, love it.
Pros: I loved how quiet this hotel was. It was a nice 5 min taxi ride away from the town center. It felt like a lovely little oasis. The room was large and clean and had a wonderful view of the pool.
Cons: I ate only breakfast there 2 mornings, but it was not that great. It was also difficult sometimes because the staff spoke no English at all.
Pros: All was outstanding! I especially like the staff. Antonio, in the restaurant, was outstanding and very friendly. Everyone smiled and went out of their way to help me. I speak very little Spanish, but I was able to communicate well. I loved waking to the birds singing! It was easy to take a taxi to Centro, and I enjoyed being able to leave the noise and activity of Centro to relax in a garden setting. My room was beautiful. I loved having morning coffee on the terrace, and I will go back to eat at the restaurant. I highly recommend this hotel, and would stay here again.
Pros: the gardens were lovely
Cons: location. too many stairs. bad for anyone with knee or hip problems. need to be up front in advertizing
Cons: When we got back from the city in the evening we requested the fireplace to be started and wen to dinner. They never started the fire and when we called to ask they told us they couldn't because of hotel policy.
Pros: If a garden setting is your preference for you hotel room, you will love this hotel. It is a tropical fantasy. The indoor/outdoor restaurant is equally charming.
Pretty, authentic, Mexican style decor. Room had small, gas fireplace in room, though we couldn't figure out how to turn it on.
Nice view from our room.
Cons: The hotel is located high on the hill. Walking to and from town is only for the able body, and unpleasant, at that. But you can easily call for a cab from the lobby (no phones in room) which usually arrives within 15 minutes. However, no seating is provided for your wait at the front gate.
There are also many stairs to climb within the hotel. Not a big deal unless you've spent the whole day walking up and down the hills of San Miguel.
The hotel restaurant closes at 5pm, Sunday thru Thursday. Open later on Friday and Saturday.
Though Wi-Fi is free, it couldn't be accessed from our room.
No coffee in room. You can get free coffee in the lobby, but no creamer of any kind is provided. We were charged $8 for a small glass of milk for our coffee.
Be advised... the staff, during our visit, does not speak any English.
