Hawaiian Railway Society is off SR 76 at 91-1001 Renton Rd. This open-air museum preserves the island’s railroad heritage. Static displays of historic rolling stock include steam and diesel locomotives, passenger cars, boxcars and flatcars. Narrated 90-minute train rides to Kahe Point are offered on weekends; the 3 p.m. rides include a stop for ice cream stop in Ko Olina. Phone for information about weekday rides.
