AAA Editor Notes
Garden of Eden Arboretum & Botanical Garden is just past Milepost 10 on SR 360 (Hāna Hwy.). Flowers, trees, waterfalls and peacocks can be seen in this 27-acre drive-through arboretum. The garden restores natural ecosystems and promotes Hawai‘i’s indigenous species, but exotic plants plucked from the South Pacific and various rain forests around the world also can be found. More than 500 botanically labeled plants are featured. Two miles of walking trails wind through the site and offer scenic jungle, waterfall and ocean views.
Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
