Pros: An American standard hotel. Very convenient location to the Convention Center and Shopping Mall.
Cons: My reservation was a double room for TWO people with breakfast. In the morning I noticed I had received only ONE breakfast ticket and I asked the reception for ANOTHER ticket. However, I was told surprisingly that the room price included breakfast for ONE person only. I didn’t like a ridiculous discussion in the beginning of the day, but both of the two guests of the double room would eat breakfast. In this I saw the insolent philosophy of the hotel. This hotel, relying on its very convenient location next to the convention center and the biggest shopping mall in Hawaii, did not need effort to offer hospitality to promote business. Hotel staffs in lobby ask for tip each time for just a little assistance. The buffet breakfast in “Plantation Café” was very poor in oriental foods, no hot milk for tea or coffee. A waiter shouted me when I asked for milk. My small room had a tiny balcony, but was ridiculous enough to admire neighbor wall and parking (see the photo). A little inconvenience in room, but no water glasses, no wine glasses, no corkscrew, though given if I ask.

Pros: Bed was comfy. Good value for money
Cons: Not close to Waikiki Beach, however you can get a bus which takes about 15 minutes to Waikiki and costs $2.50 each way.

Pros: The staff at the front desk was great! They made sure I felt valued. A short walk from the mall was also a perk! I could get a drink at one of the restaurants in the mall and walk to my hotel after, saving me the troube of finding a ride. A 7/11 was also accesible down the street convenient for those late night snack cravings!
Cons: I didn't like the room rates. They should offer military discounts.
