Close to beach and Waikiki...

Pros: The queens beds were extremely comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Loved the complimentary juice and coffee.

Cons: The sofa bed was not very comfortable.

Pros: We had a two bedroom apartment and it suited our needs as we had a young child with us. The kitchen facilities were great, the beds comfy. The staff were fantastic, always smiling and welcoming. The fresh juice in the lobby was always welcome after a bit of sight seeing.

Pros: Locate! Several blocks from the beach. One block from shopping and restaurants. One block from public transportation.

Cons: A minor point, would have been better with a nicer shower head.

Good location-a little tired though.

Pros: Location was very close to Kalakaua - which was great.

Cons: They need to clean more - we were here for 10 nights and not once were floors or bathroom cleaned. I think it's important at least once or twice for this time period. Also, some of the amenities are a little older and the room was noisy as we were right in front of a loading dock and above restaurants.

Pros: I like everything was so closed shops restaurant buses etc . Great location even didn't have a pool we were able to use other outrigger facilities .. the apartments have everything you need.

Great location & pleasant staff

Pros: Relatively quiet location close to beach, shopping & restaurants. Very pleasant & helpful staff. 2 bedroom apartment was a good size with reasonable kitchen facilities. Loved the free tropical fruit juice in the lobby each day!

Cons: Air conditioning noise from hotel situated behind the property. Would have liked daily maid service to change towels & make up beds but wasn't a major issue (clean towels were available on request).

Cons: The apartment was not very clean considering you pay a fee for it. The pillows smelt and the bed wasn't that comfortable.

Good room and location with...

Pros: Location and that it was run by Outrigger hotels and that you could use the facilities at the Reef. The room was very nice and so was the kitchen.

Cons: I didn't like that the shower door did not slide open and close and that the kitchen tap pressure was low good

Pros: Location was great and the use of the Outrigger facilities added to the comfort.

Cons: we have a king-size bed at home, so the small one in the apartment took some getting used to but other than that everything was excellent.

Pros: Very spacious, great size balcony for 4 people to relax on even with extra friends and perfect location, fabulous that outrigger on the reef is so close and pool also beach towels can be used!

Friendly Staff

Pros: Staff welcomed us at the lobby as we were exiting our cars and were extremely helpful throughout our stay. We were upgraded to a beachfront property which had a very nice view.

Cons: Miscommunication about where we were staying and/or parking. The main building manages multiple properties in the vicinity. We were given a timeshare and the owner has done minimal upgrades.Room was a bit sparse. We requested a two-bedroom unit. The 2nd bedroom was not really a room--just two beds and a curtain to provide a bit of privacy.

Pros: Staff were nice. Good location.

Cons: No housecleaning and a large cleaning fee at the end of your stay, read details carefully before booking. Found a bug in the bedroom. Ants in the kitchen.

Pros: The kitchenette was very useful! The size was appropriate for my family.

Cons: Slightly cleaner premises would have been nice, as children tend to play on the floor. Trash removal via a chute would be easier than a back-door bin

Don't take a ocean view...

Pros: It is an apartment an you can use all facilities linked to the hotel down the street Spacious and ckean

Cons: We booked a room with partial ocean view but from where it is located it is impossible to see the sea We paid twice as much as a normal room for exactly similar view!

Will definitely stay here again...

Pros: Hotel's location was ideal...just minutes to the beach and shopping. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. Convenient because it was equipped with a full kitchen, dishes, etc. Beds were very comfy to boot!

Cons: Laundry facilities to few. One of the 2nd and one on the 7th floor. Each floor only had 1 set of washer/dryer and was way to expensive.

Great location

Pros: We have stayed here before and love the location and that it's an apartment rather than a hotel. We love that it's part of the Outrigger Reef and can use their facilities

Cons: For a 6 night stay I would have liked the room cleaned and towels changed etc.

A dream vacation.

Pros: Great location! We were extremely happy with the small kitchen.the partial,ocean view was beautiful and worth the extra charge. The facilities at the sister hotel were excellent and the staff were very helpful in setting up tours.

Pros: Awesome location. Metres away from the beach. The little kitchenette is fantastic as we can have little snacks or breakfasts in the room. We can also watch tv in the 'lounge' after our daughter goes to bed We were allowed to check in at 10 am instead of 2 pm. This allowed us to have a nice nap after 11 hour flight - life saver! The staff is very friendly and accommodating Within walking distance to all nice cafes, bar and restaurants. Also all the nice shops!

Cons: The bedroom could have extra light as it can be a bit dark there The pool is not heated but I don't think any pool is heated in Hawaii

Pros: Location and access to Outrigger pool. Regular staff were great and informative and did replenish supplies when requested.

Cons: Night person at front desk not knowledgeable. Sofa bed was very uncomfortable. No cleaning for a week stay not ideal. Parking is very expensive in Waikiki!

Fabulous

Pros: We booked the 2 bedroom, they gave us the top floor and the room came with a view of Ft De Russey and the beach. The location was better than some of the other hotels in central Waikiki as Beachwalk does not have as many busses and ambulances to keep you awake at night.
