Prince Kūhiō Park, 2.5 mi. s.w. on Po‘ipū Rd., is a small park with a bust marking the 1871 birthplace of Jonah Kūhiō Kalaniana‘ole, born of royal parentage and decreed prince in 1871. He worked to benefit the Hawaiian people and was Hawai‘i’s delegate to Congress 1902-22.
