AAA Inspector Notes
This massive 62 acre property features three separate tower sections where guests can use a tram system or one of the many canal boats to get to each tower. But why not walk between the hotel sections and view the incredible collection of art pieces that make up the museum walk. Of course, the highlight of this hotel is the dolphins; check with the concierge about booking a chance to swim with them. All guest rooms feature a lanai. Smoke free premises. 1240 units, some two bedrooms. 1-8 stories, interior/exterior corridors. Accessibility (Call).

Pros: The grounds were beautiful! The beds were very comfortable. And the statuary was incredible.
Cons: All the charges for every little thing. An example of this- a requested microwave that had not been put in the room was then given a $30 delivery fee when correcting the mistake. Also the distance to everything in the hotel makes for long travel times.

Pros: This is a great place to stay. Checkin and checkout were a breeze. Beautiful scenery. Plenty of lounge chairs all over the property to relax in and enjoy the ocean. Walking paths go from one side to the other or you can take the tram which has 5 stops. Never had to wait long for the tram. There is also a boat you can take from 2pm to 10pm but it is slow. There is no sandy beach to swim in because of the lava rocks but there is a really nice lagoon to swim in where you can rent lots of beach toys and there are several swimming pools, one just for kids and one just for adults. There are 3 towers with rooms in them which are approximately 7 stories. We had a king room with lanai. It was very big with a couch and walkin closet and mini fridge. Great bedding. I used their laundry facilities and the free movie rentals. I could go on and on. They have a very large parking lot which took a little bit of walking to find your car for $25 a night or valet for $32 a night with unlimited in and out. Shuttle to two small shopping centers ($2) about a mile away which have general stores where things are much cheaper than at the hotel. And a shuttle to the beach about 3 minutes away. They have thought of everything. (A taxi from the airport was $66.)
Cons: Food was expensive. Breakfast buffet is $32.99, but it was huge. But really I have no complaints.
