AAA Inspector Notes
Inspector Pick (Recreation/Exercise): With complimentary water and protein bars coupled with the open-air style overlooking the ocean, this fitness room is definitely one of my favorites!
This all-suites hotel with lush landscaping incorporates contemporary design features with Hawaiian style. The peaceful and romantic setting offers breathtaking ocean views of three Hawaiian Islands. Take the hotel shuttle to the beach, where an attendant awaits to set up beach services. Activities like aerial yoga, outrigger canoeing and tropical mixology classes are some of the offerings here. Smoke free premises. 72 units, some efficiencies. 2 stories (no elevator), exterior corridors. Accessibility (Call).

This hotel has not been updated in 30-40 years. The grounds are really beautiful, but the room is just plain dated. It was a bonus when I was charged a resort fee of an extra $51 a night. I did not even bid on a resort property, instead a hotel room. This was not even a hotel it was more like a dated apartment. The kitchen was a tiki lounge from 1974. It was a major disappointment.
Pros: The flowers on the grounds of the hotel.
Cons: The actual room - this was not even a hotel.

Pros: Beautiful grounds, a bit of a walk to valet outside. Great service in the hotel always. Valet folks are the best and front desk is awesome. Landscape is pretty.
Cons: Road noise from the rooms and far from the beach. Service staff is fabulous. I was assigned a garden room on checkin and argued with the room manager for a view room and he was very difficult and upcharged for a different room, big surprise.

Great place to unwind away...
Pros: They had bath salts ready to use right on the side of the soaking tub. Perfect for a soak after a long day of travel! Great Molten Brown bath products as well.
Cons: House keeping reprimanded me about smoking because they found a butt. I was smoking way further away than 20 feet, then putting my butts in a cup outside my room. They made a big deal about it and it ruined my day and zen!!
