Shoshone Indian Ice Caves

Shoshone Indian Ice Caves, 17 mi. n. on SR 75, are caves of ice that maintain a temperature of 18 to 28 F, while a few feet away on the surface the thermometer might register more than 100. Visitors should wear sturdy shoes and a coat. The 3/4-mile tour includes 100 feet of stairs. A museum features collections of gems, minerals and rocks.
