Farragut State Park

Farragut State Park is 4.9 mi. e. on SR 54. On the site of a former U.S. Navy training center built in 1942, the 4,000-acre park borders Lake Pend Oreille and is a popular boating, fishing and recreation area. Features include an extensive hiking and biking trail system, groomed trails for cross-country skiing and a visitor center with exhibits. Wildlife includes deer, bear, elk, mountain goats and a diverse bird population.

Pet friendly (call for restrictions/fees.). Recreational activities are permitted. Camping is permitted. Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
