Boise State University, 1910 University Dr. along the Boise River, is the state's largest institution of higher learning, with more than 200 fields of study in seven colleges. Established in 1932, the university has approximately 22,000 students enrolled in graduate and undergraduate programs.
Highlights of the campus include the Velma V. Morrison Center for the Performing Arts. Bronco Stadium is noted for its blue artificial turf.
When football season ends, the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl—a matchup between a Western Athletic Conference team and a team from the Mountain West Conference—is held at the stadium.
