AAA Editor Notes
Boundary County Historical Museum is at 7229 Main St. Themed exhibit areas showcase Native American and pioneer artifacts, an early post office, a doctor's office, household items, and logging equipment and tools. Historical photos and a digital photo display also are featured. Inside the main hall is a replica of the White Caribou Bar, a Main Street landmark that operated 1905-09 and was known for featuring a mounted white caribou in its storefront window. While the caribou has been at the museum for more than 20 years, it is now back in its rightful place in the bar's window.

Behind the museum, the Historic Railroad Courtyard includes a railway semaphore signal and interpretive plaques describing the three railroads that once served the area.

Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
