Human Rights Education Institute

Human Rights Education Institute is at 414 West Fort Grounds Dr. in the historic 1902 Spokane & Inland Empire Electric Railway substation building in the northeast corner of Coeur d'Alene City Park. The cultural organization educates and raises awareness about various human rights issues; its exhibit galleries host changing displays that support these goals. The Peace Lives Here Gallery showcases artwork illustrating human rights principles and responsibilities. Interactive activities for children are offered.
