Pros: Very friendly staff. We loved the historic value of the building, how well it is preserved. We liked that they had items pertaining to Teddy Roosevelt. Period pieces of art. Overall brightness of the interior made it uplifting. Breakfast was above and beyond exceptions. John was wonderful! The house keeper (we're so sorry we forgot your name, your son's name is John) was so very nice to us and let us look around the upper floor rooms. We really enjoyed our stay!!! Thank you so much!
Cons: Brighter lights in bathroom.

Pros: The breakfast fruit was nice and the location was good for walking. The staff was hospitable. We were excited to stay in someplace historical, but...
Cons: Our carpet was quite stained. The room was very hot and noisy. There was a need for maintenance. The toilet dispenser needed to be reattached to the wall. There was garbage on the grounds that staff walked right by. Our tablecloth at breakfast was very dirty and we were the first shift to eat. The silverware wasn't clean.

Pros: The staff was nice the room very clean and furnished with very good taste. The whole building is well maintained and is very unique as converted from an old school into Bed and Breakfast.
Cons: We overlooked when we booked that it is a bed and breakfast. For a bed and breakfast with no TV or entertainment in the room and very small bathroom this is VERY over prized. We think a good price would be $90.

Pros: Very welcoming staff. Nice breakfast. Walking distance to downtown area and lake.
Cons: The room we had was small. To be fair the rest of the rooms were roomier and many had sitting areas. I don't know if we got the smaller room because we booked through booking.com.
