The Idaho Falls Zoo at Tautphaus Park is at Rogers St. and Carnival Way. More than 350 creatures reside in Idaho's largest zoo, in regional habitats representing North and South America, Africa, Asia, Australia and New Guinea. Animal encounter shows are scheduled daily in summer. Also popular is the Penguin Interaction Program in which participants meet a zookeeper, interact with the birds and learn about the fascinating lives of penguins.
