Celebration Park is .7 mi. e. on Baseline Rd., 3 mi. s. on Can Ada Rd., 1.6 mi. w. on Warren Spur Rd., 2.8 mi. s. on Sinker Rd., then just e., following signs to 6530 Hot Spot Ln. Located along the Snake River, this area was once used by the Paiute Indians as wintering grounds. Thousands of petroglyphs, some of which are 12,000 years old, can be seen. The park affords a variety of recreational activities, such as bird-watching and trails for horseback riding. Visitors also can traverse the historic Guffy Bridge, which is appointed with informational placards. Educational programs, including lectures and guided tours, relate the site's features and history; phone ahead for schedules. Recreational activities are permitted. Camping is permitted. Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 1 hour, 30 minutes minimum.
Day-use fee $2. Camping fee $5. Annual pass $15; $5 (senior citizens). Cash only.
Hours: Daily 9-4. Visitor center staffed daily 10-2 Apr.-Oct.
