Nampa Train Depot Museum is at 1200 Front St. The 1903 Baroque Revival-style building, formerly the Oregon Short Line Depot, houses changing exhibits that illustrate Nampa's importance as a railway town. Highlights include Canyon County and Union Pacific Railroad history, model train layouts and a caboose from the 1940s. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
$3; $2 (ages 13-18 and 65+); $1 (ages 6-12); $7 (family, four people).
Hours: Thurs.-Fri. 10-3, Sat. 9-2. Closed Jan. 1, July 4, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
