Minnetonka Cave is s.w. via US 89 to St. Charles, then 10 mi. w. to the head of St. Charles Canyon. The cave, 7,700 feet above sea level, contains nine rooms of stalactites, stalagmites and banded travertine originally discovered by grouse hunters.
Note: The temperature is a constant 40 F; jackets are recommended. The tour involves climbing 444 steps.
