Pros: The night person at the front desk during check in was very welcoming and informative when we checked in late at night. The room was clean and the bedding was clean and comfortable.
Cons: The price was very high for a regular room, for a location that wasn't really near anything other than the airport. After having checked in late, I asked for a late checkout, no early maid service, and put out the 'do not disturb' sign so my travel fatigued daughter and I could rest. Unfortunately, I couldn't foresee my rest being interrupted by being awakened by an alarm in another room which was going continuously. We couldn't go back to sleep, so I went to the "free" breakfast and a huge fly was crawling around on the bread (bagels, etc.), The general manager Sedina Pivac was not very pro customer service, except to certain guests. She had agreed to the late checkout that I had requested the night before at check in, she failed to acknowledge that it wasn't too helpful if we couldn't go back to sleep. After having no empathy for our situation, she turned to another guest and offered to wrap a gift and ship it overnight to his wife in another state for their anniversary at no cost to him, while I was still at the front desk awaiting resolution to my situation. The guest apologized to me for the interruption and seemed even a little shocked at how quickly she dismissed my concern in order to focus her attention on his gift. While that showed she is willing/aware of going above and beyond regarding customer service, sadly, it also showed disparity in how/to whom that customer service is given. After pointing that out to her, she then nastily said she'd take $10 off as if angry or irritated that I had brought it to her attention.
