Krannert Art Museum (KAM), 500 E. Peabody Dr. on the University of Illinois campus, houses an extensive collection of art spanning 6,000 years. More than 10,000 works represent the cultures of Africa, Asia, Europe and the Americas and include paintings, photography, sculpture, ceramics and glassware. Temporary exhibitions also are presented. Featured on the grounds is an outdoor sculpture garden.
Guided tours are available by appointment. Special events, music performances and educational programs are offered.
