Balzekas Museum of Lithuanian Culture, 6500 S. Pulaski Rd., displays folk art, ambers, stamps, textiles, coins and other items spanning 1,000 years of Lithuanian history. It also houses the Children's Museum of Immigrant History, which features exhibits that highlight tradition and culture brought to the United States. A library, an art gallery and a genealogy department also are included. Educational programs are offered throughout the year. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
$9; $7 (ages 65+ and students with ID); $3 (ages 0-11).
Hours: Daily 10-4. Closed major holidays.
