Chicago Children's Museum is at 700 E. Grand Ave. at Navy Pier. The museum features an interactive exhibit called Skyline, which teaches children and adults the science, engineering, art and technology behind what keeps Chicago’s tallest buildings standing. The Tinkering Lab encourages visitors to build objects using real tools and materials.

Other highlights include the Kovler Family Climbing Schooner, a three-story replica of an 1850s sailing vessel, and Kids Town, a child-size city. The Kraft Artabounds Studio offers art workshops.
