Chicago Sports Museum is at Water Tower Place, Level 7, 835 N. Michigan Ave. This state-of-the-art museum delves into the history of Chicago's professional sports teams, displaying championship rings, sports jerseys, equipment, a mascot suit and other paraphernalia. Interactive exhibits let visitors compare their wingspans to Chicago Bulls' Scottie Pippen or see if they can jump as high as Michael Jordan. Jimmie Johnson’s NASCAR race suit can be seen in the Chicagoland Speedway’s Victory Lane exhibit. A special section explores sports superstitions and rituals as well as the supposed curses affecting the Chicago Cubs. Food is available. Time: Allow 1 hour, 30 minutes minimum.

Hours: Mon.-Thurs. 11:30-8:30, Fri.-Sat. 11:30-9, Sun. 11:30-6. The museum occasionally hosts private events and may be closed to the public during those times; phone ahead.
