Illinois State Museum Chicago Gallery, on the second floor of the James R. Thompson Center at 100 W. Randolph St., displays artwork by Illinois artists. Exhibits include sculpture, paintings, photography and electronic art. Special exhibits rotate throughout the year. Guided tours are available upon request. Note: At press time, the museum was closed due to budget cuts; phone for further information. Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
