AAA Editor Notes
Polish Museum of America, 984 N. Milwaukee Ave., documents the many Polish contributions to this country. The museum contains exhibits about Thaddeus Kosciuszko and Casimir Pulaski, patriots in the war for America's independence; extensive interactive displays concerning Ignace Jan Paderewski, a noted pianist and statesman; memorabilia of other noted Polish-Americans; coins, stamps and medals of Poland; and Polish folk and fine art and sculpture. Paintings, sculptures and graphic arts by Polish artists 1919-39 are displayed in the Kusmierczak Art Gallery. Temporary exhibits and a library also are available.
