Six Flags Great America, 1 mi. e. of I-94 on Grand Ave. (SR 132), is a theme park and water park entertainment complex boasting family rides, thrill rides, waterslides, children's areas and live shows.

JUSTICE LEAGUE: Battle for Metropolis is a 4D interactive ride in which passengers will fight with laser guns to save the super heroes. Goliath, a wooden coaster with a near-vertical plunge, X Flight, BATMAN: The Ride, Raging Bull, Vertical Velocity, and SUPERMAN: Ultimate Flight as well as the record-breaking, 100-foot-tall loop coaster, Mardi Gras Hangover, are among the 16 roller coasters that keep thrill-seeking visitors' adrenaline pumping.

Celebrate the holidays at one of the park’s many festivals including July 4th Fest and Fright Fest. On select dates November through December at Holiday in the Park, guests will enjoy seasonal entertainment, rides and treats as well as carolers and visitations with Santa Claus and Looney Tunes characters.

Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, a 20-acre, Caribbean-themed water park, has waterslides, a zero-depth interactive water playground, a wave pool and a half-mile-long adventure river. Hurricane Harbor features 30 water attractions, including four “bombs away” style drop slides.
