AAA Editor Notes

The Newberry Library, 60 W. Walton St., is a research library that focuses on the humanities; its galleries feature changing exhibits. Lectures, seminars and special events are offered throughout the year. Note: Researchers must be 16 years of age and older or juniors in high school. Photo ID, proof of address and a topic supported by the library's collection are required. Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.

Hours: Library services Tues.-Fri. 9-5, Sat. 9-1; closed holidays and Sat. preceding Mon. holidays. Exhibits Mon.-Sat. 8:15-5 (also Tues.-Thurs. 5-7:30); phone ahead to confirm exhibit holiday hours. Guided tours are given Thurs. at 3, Sat. at 10:30.
