The Richard H. Driehaus Museum is at 40 E. Erie St. Housed in the palatial mansion of the original owner, banker Samuel Mayo Nickerson (1830-1914), the museum offers a fascinating view of one of the few remaining examples of the palatial homes erected by the wealthy of America’s Gilded Age. The lavish interior is complemented by stunning examples of period furniture, decorative arts and special exhibitions. Guided and audio tours are available. Guided tours are available.
$20; $12.50 (ages 65+); $10 (ages 6-12 and students with ID). Guided tour or audio tour additional $5.
