Pros: The staff was very helpful and accommodating of us and our pet. They worked to find a bit larger room for the three of us and suggested multiple parking options. The recently remodeled rooms were clean, modern and felt very posh. The location 3 blocks from a Metra stop to Wrigley field and 1-2 blocks from the Magnificent mile cannot be beat. There is also a city park 1 block away which was an easy dog walk for our canine companion. The restaurant has good food and a fun bar which was hopping until closing time. We would definitely stay here again! Highly recommended.
Cons: Self-parking is pricey at $46/day (which is to be expected in this area of the city). They recommend a public parking garage 1 block away and then provide a $4 validation discount/24 hours. Our car was fine there for 2 nights. Valet parking is only $60 so not much more with unlimited in and out privileges, but we did not want to deal with city driving. Wish there was a bit more of an incentive to do that and rely on the bell desk for taxis or Uber etc. or use the light rail (go green!).
