Pros: Location was excellent.The gym was well-equipped. The bathroom was large and well laid out with nice fixtures. The bed was comfortable.
Cons: The additional charge for parking at $60 per day was outrageous. This is more than one pays in Manhattan. For a hotel this expensive, one should expect Wi-Fi

Pros: The hotel was clean,but dated. The room was very small. We had to pay an upgrade fee to get a king bed. Bathroom was not designed well. No room for a dob kit to be placed anywhere.

Pros: This hotel has a perfect location right on Michigan Avenue in the heart of Magnificent Mile. You can easily walk to restaurants and all the touristy sites.

Cons: There were a few things - We stayed at the Allerton for 5 nights. There was not sufficient drawer space to place our socks, under garments, exercise shorts and tee shirts. The elevators ran too infrequently between our floor and the ground floor.

Pros: Location was great. It was also very quiet considering it is located on a major thoroughfare.
Cons: The rooms are very small so I contacted the hotel and agreed to upgrade to a king size room for an additional $15.00 a night. It was worth it. The only problem was the sounds from the elevators was irritating.

Cons: Yes..Room was really tiny. Wallpaper was peeling, an average room for a four star rating. There was a wedding the night we stayed and the elevator apparently were switched to accommodate them, we waited over 15 min, so we took staff elevators to leave.

Pros: The hotel location was amazing. It was right on the magnificent mile. And we got it for a very low price.
Cons: I'm highly allergic to mold. The room smelled musty even after cleaning. There was damage to the headboard, damage to the wallpaper, the sink had a huge crack, and as a couple it was somewhat small.

Pros: I liked the friendliness of the staff the best.
Cons: I did not like that you have to go to the 2nd floor to check-in, the room was small as hell-no where to maneuver at all, and when time to check-out, all elevators stopped working, except one so it took me almost 30min just to get down stairs.

Cons: The hotel was filthy. There insects in the room. Everything was falling apart. There was trash in the halls left sitting for days. The staff was rude. The elevators were extremely slow. I cannot believe this is rated as a 4 star hotel.

Cons: The only complaint I would have and I heard everyone say the same thing was the elevators ran very slow and it was a very long wait to get an elevator.
