My wife and I are always captivated by the beautiful room, romantic ambience and the adept service of staff who are nattily attired in business suits.

Classic. The name says it all: Everest occupies the summit of fine dining in Chicago atop a 40-story skyscraper near the iconic Willis Tower. Alsatian-influenced cuisine expresses the chef’s roots in France. The seasonally changing menu offers a choice of three-, four- or seven-course tastings. The signature dishes are always a great option, like the roasted lobster with a sweet, buttery Gewürztraminer sauce with ginger, which is to die for. Complimentary underground garage parking with valet is available. Guests must take two elevators to the 39th floor and transfer to the private restaurant elevator to get to this posh 40th-floor dining room.
