Historic. A casual, inviting corner bar and grill that was built in 1872 just after the Great Chicago Fire. The walls and ceiling are filled with memorabilia of the fire. The tavern offers a wide variety of beer and cocktails and serves up nicely prepared comfort food. Their Chicago-style Poutine is a popular dish with fries soaked in Italian beef gravy with cheese curds.
