When most folks think of a steakhouse they don't ordinarily think of fine dining or luxurious dining rooms, but in this case those minds might just be changed. Set on the second floor of an elegant hotel and reached by walking up a winding marble staircase and across a glass footbridge, the restaurant presents dark wood, leather and velvet accents. The menu incorporates some of Chicago icon Michael Jordan's favorite dishes and USDA Certified Prime steaks. The colossal crab cake is exceptional. First-class dry-aged steaks, Wagyu beef and an excellent selection of fish are offered. Seared ahi tuna, roasted halibut and wild Alaskan salmon also make the cut on the varied menu. The signature cut is MJ's Prime Delmonico rib-eye, aged 45 days and served with a ginger balsamic vinegar jus poured over the steak at the table. Some menu items change with the season. Lamb chops, chicken and pork tenderloin also are available.
