Hieronymus Mueller Museum, 420 Eldorado St., houses the history of the Mueller Co. founded by Hieronymus Mueller, a German immigrant who was a plumber and machinist. In the mid-19th century Mueller patented devices that advanced the plumbing industry. After his death his children took over the company and expanded the line of products that were sold all over the country and continued to patent devices such as a fire hydrant.
