Monticello Railway Museum

Monticello Railway Museum, off I-72 exit 166 (Market St.), following Iron Horse Pl. to the frontage road, is a restored Illinois Central train depot with several railcars on exhibit. Eight-mile round-trip train rides lasting a little less than an hour include a stop at the historic Wabash Depot in Monticello. A steam engine also is operated some weekends.
