Pros: The room came with a refrigerator, micowave, coffee pot, dishes, cups, glasses essentially everything you could want. Microwaveable meals were available for purchase. Free breakfast, free wine and food at Happy Hour. Internet was free as well as parking.

Pros: Location. This hotel sits between two major high ways as well as several shopping areas and offers a premium opportunity to entertainment.
Cons: The smoke alarms triggered 4 times beginning around 2am forcing us to evacuate the hotel each time which isn't the problem being safety is important. The problem is that the staff did not acknowledge the mistake although they ask for the full expense!

Pros: The modern, suite-style rooms are very nice, and the fully-equipped kitchen with stovetop is very helpful. Good free breakfast and evening dinner/manager's reception is great (Mon-Wed). They even have free washers & dryers for guest laundry.

Pros: It was a beautiful hotel. The kitchenet was a great addition. Wish we could have stayed to use it more. Very clean. The coffee machine was cool too.
Cons: While there was a big selection, the breakfast really was not filling. Both my wife and I came away hungry.

Cons: Didn't like that for 3 nights stay there was no cleaning service. It was hot and muggy outside. Towels piled up on floor and trash over flowed. If I had known this in advance I would never have stayed. Next trip--and we go fairly often--we're staying downtown Chicago. Finally, the suite was done heavily in browns making room dark and depressing

Cons: Ten minutes after 12 noon we were making our second and final trip to load up the car only to discover our key cards had been disabled.
I could understand the hotel during so after 1 pm, but truly, it was just ten minutes!!
Earlier, that morning at approximately 10 AM, the maid knocked on our door and we responded we were checking out that day. She came back at 11:30, to ask again!
Well the room was ours for another 30 minutes, right?
So I guess at 12 Noon, the staff was going to make sure we OUT by disabling our keys!
As a person who has traveled frequently throughout my life, I can state it is atypical for a property with a 4 star and above rating to push folks out the door at the precise check out time. Perhaps if this was over a holiday weekend or peak traveling period I could understand, but it was not.
I've been told that the property has been acquired by new owners within the last year or so.
I do know formerly, the front desk staff cheerily greeted you upon check in and acted as though they were glad to see you.
Now, (curiously, I only see the same two folk, a male and a female) they seem to act out of duty. You've paid for a room, they have to honor your reservation.
They don't smile, they are not engaging or friendly.
When we left the key cards at the desk at 12:20 pm, the ever present fellow on duty didn't look up to meet my gaze or even thank me for making the hotel my choice.

Pros: The rooms were nice and has an entire area to cook with a dishwasher, garbage disposal, large refrigerator, microwave, cookware, glasses and dishes.
All you have to do is bring the groceries. There was a variety of food at the complimentary breakfast: cooked and uncooked.

Cons: They could expand the breakfast, they didn't carry butter at all, only peanut butter. Something was wrong with the juice machine; all of the juices tasted like water.

Pros: The hotel was very nice. However our room was in a state of remodel. No doors on kitchen cabinets, and no cold water in kitchen. The faucet was an unusual design, but try as I might I couldn't get the cold water on. The hot water was scalding.
Cons: The dog fee was $75.00 for 1-6 nights. We never paid more than $25.00 for 1 night which was all we stayed at any hotel as we were traveling across country. I will never stay there again if I have to pay $75.00/ night

Pros: The hotel was in a quiet location, off a main street and easy to find. The bedrooms were generous in size and their cleanliness was impressive.
Cons: Was completely unimpressed with my check-in experience as I felt we were treated differently because we booked through a 3rd party site. The room we booked was not the room that was reserved for us by the hotel. Needless to say, they only accommodated our request after an argument ensued. The front desk's customer service was sub-standard. Also, the main entrance and foyer were under construction. Nowhere upon booking our room was this information made public to their guests. Breakfast could've been a bit more exciting.

Pros: The man who checked us in was very nice. It was very late so we purchased some food from the mini store. Ok selection, not many healthy choices.
Cons: It just seemed to have an older hotel setting about it. The hallways had a burnt smell, I was a little worried about using the elevator. The toilets don't have much pressure which they must know because there is a plunger right next to the toilet :(

Pros:
Cons: The room I was assigned to was missing a door to the cabinet above the sink. No, it didn't affect the comfort of the room, but it most definitely affected its appearance. Further, the handle of the refrigerator door was dingy. I can say however, the refrigerator was clean inside.
I also don't like the new system of brewing one cup of coffee at a time in the main buffet area. It causes a queue to form as invariably, some custom brew their beverage
