Meandering pathways lead through the outdoor gardens, where plantings change with the seasons. Featured are perennials, annuals, and collections of iris, daylilies and evergreens. The children's garden includes a human sundial, a water play feature and a mini-Mississippi River and Delta. A seasonal garden train railway, an alphabet garden and a secret garden also are on the grounds.
