Tinker Swiss Cottage Museum and Gardens, 411 Kent St., is an 1865 mansion with Swiss architecture and Victorian furnishings built by Robert Tinker. The cottage is adorned with more than 5,000 objects Tinker collected on his world travels. Six acres of landscaped grounds feature a prairie meadow and iris, rose, vegetable and railroad gardens.
Entrance to the museum is by guided tour only.
