Pros: Very modern, updated, and clean furnishings. They offer free daily popcorn to guests and breakfast. Guests have access to the Crown Plaza pool & sauna next door which was a great plus. Gym was great.
Cons: The room doors slam very loudly and need updating.

Cons: Staff need additional training. It is not a good idea to put a front desk associate at the front desk when they aren't familiar with their own hotel's policies and procedures and then ask their guests(me) how to deal with another customer.

Pros: Nice, clean hotel with the usual breakfast in the morning--always a good start to the day. The hotel DOES NOT have a pool, though--they have "access" to the pool in the hotel next door, which is a slight hike to get to.
Cons: The pool was next door and not on site. Not a deal breaker, though.

Cons: Check in was good, but man was not very friendly; only staff I encountered. Breakfast was slightly better than average. Would have been great, but bacon was terrible. Pillows were not good. Difficult to get to if you don't know how to navigate past Crowne

Pros: When I left my pants in my original room, the housekeeping person went and got them and brought them to my room in a very timely fashion.
Cons: The first room I was in had either stains in the bathtub or the tub was dirty so I had to switch rooms.
I forgot some of my sundries and they didn't get back to me to let me know they looked for them.

There's No Place Like Home......
Pros: The room was large, clean and comfortable. Despite the hotel being almost full, it was quiet. We never even heard our neighbors. The lighting in the room was wonderful. It made us feel right at home after a long drive.
The best part came at breakfast. We went down late, at 9:15 (breakfast ends at 9:30). We expected to find a dew scraps left over, because the hotel was quite busy. Instead we found a fully stocked hot breakfast area, loads of juice, coffee and milk, a full bread box and everything was fresh and clean. It was a wonderful surprise. The attendant who was working the breakfast area was a true gem. She was friendly, she asked if there was anything additional she could bring to us. When my wife asked if there was any skim milk, the attendant brought her a glass of it, right to our table.
Staying at this Holiday Inn Express was a great experience.
Cons: Okay, the view of the hotel next door was not that great...
