AAA Editor Notes
Midwest Museum of Natural History is at 425 W. State St. This facility features mounted animal specimens from Africa and North America presented in realistic dioramas. Displays include an elephant and a giraffe. A hands-on children's area, wildlife viewing station, geology collection and a rotating exhibit gallery are offered. More than 30 live animals are on display.
Educational programs and special events are offered throughout the year.
