Elkhart County Historical Museum is at 304 W. Vistula St. (SR 120). Housed in a 1903 school building, the museum showcases items of historical and cultural significance, including artifacts from some of the region's earliest inhabitants. Other displays relate the Europeans' settlement of the area and the development of local industries. A research library and reading room also are available. Outside is a colorful quilt-inspired garden.
