Whitewater Valley Railroad

Whitewater Valley Railroad departs from 455 Market St. A 1950s diesel engine with 1920s coach cars travel along the towpath of the Whitewater Canal. Visitors riding in the caboose get a firsthand look at the life of a conductor. A 2-hour layover in Metamora allows shopping and sightseeing. In addition to its regular schedule, the train makes special trips throughout the year. Dinner trips also are available.
