Corydon Capitol State Historic Site is at 126 E. Walnut St. Three sites played roles in the political development of the state. The Old Capitol Building at Old Capitol Square on North Capitol Avenue served as the seat of government 1816-25. Governor Hendricks' Headquarters is at 202 E. Walnut St. The Constitution Elm marks the site where Indiana delegates drafted the state's first constitution. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
