Pros: Great location! Extremely clean room and bathroom. We booked this as a "staycation" for a few cold weather days during Spring Break this year-exclusively to use the saltwater pool and hot tub with our 4 kids. The first day the pool and hot tub were amazing! Great temperature, clear, nice size, everything you would hope for!
Cons: The 2nd day the hot tub was cool (colder than the pool!) until almost noon. The pool was cloudy with hair and clumps of hair floating in it. A lady who appeared to be a housekeeping (?) employee brought 3 little girls (maybe 3 yr olds?) to the pool and dropped them off and left never to return! My suspicion that she was an employee was confirmed when the little girls questioned why I was splashing in the pool, and that I needed to stop-I told them I was exercising. I questioned as to why they were using the emergency life preservers off the wall in the hot tub and pool and they said they can't swim and one little girl said her mom works there and they can use it if they want! I was shocked at the fact a little child was talking to me like that, shocked a mother/employee would drop off 3 tiny, non-swimmers in a pool area with no supervision-especially when there are rules posted that under 14 and non swimmers must be supervised. We left that afternoon and I had a red prickly rash on most of my legs-I showered when I arrived home thinking that would cure it but it did not. However, today it is much better. As a person who has grown up with a pool, I'm assuming the pool chemical balance was off that 2nd day, due to whatever happened the night before that left it cloudy and with lots of hair in it! There was a nice pool man/maintenance man who kept checking the water and refreshing towels, likely trying to get the pool right again.... but considering we booked this hotel for the saltwater pool and hot tub-we were EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED to say the least. There were also other patrons we had met the first day who made mention to us the same things as I've noted here. Many people were disappointed.
